Subgenres and audiences

There are various subgenres of the thriller genre. Subgenres are a combination of two genres, e.g. drama thriller, crime thriller, action thriller etc. Thriller is therefore diverse in themes so can appeal to a wide range of audience, however some subgenres are more likely to appeal to a certain audience than others. Here are 5 examples of subgenres and their target audience.
