Drama thrillers are thrillers with elements of drama included i.e. romance.  Creates suspense as it is generally more slow-paced compared to other subgenres such as crime or action.  The audience for drama thrillers are more likely to be of an older age group (25-50), however there is a versatile range of drama thrillers therefore the subgenre is targeted at both genders, although romantic drama thrillers are more like to be targeted towards females.
