Dark colours to highlight the small amounts of light. The majority of colours in the opening credits are dark shades of grey or black, with the rare involvement of bright colours such as white. This adds a shocking effect to the typography as the contrast in colour immediately catches the viewer’s attention.​

- The sudden involvement of music shocks the audience. The pauses and rhythm of the audio displays tension as it creates excitement.
