6) What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing the product?
Whilst filming, I found that the positioning of my equipment was essential to creating the piece. Although unconventional, in some parts of my film the microphone was placed on the ceiling, I found that this allowed for more sound to be heard on an even level; which was critical for the mixture of diegetic and non-diegetic sound.
Photography played a great role in producing my main task. I took pictures with a still camera and I photoshopped those pictures to add to my film.
Here is the original taken picture of normal cooking knives on a metal sink. I placed fake blood onto one of the knives and also on the sink.
This is the edited picture of the knives. I used a flames effect as fire is used in the opening sequence to introduce the title. I also cropped the image to focus the knives and used the effect to create a more threatening depiction.
