LOCATION, COSTUME AND CHARACTERS
Characters

A
- A detective
- Although female characters are usually depicted as the weak role, the character is an influential, strong female persona.
- Professional and direct
- Quite witty in speech, but has a serious tone.

B
- The suspect
- The stereotypical male character with a hoodie, to provoke the audience to believe he is guilty.
- Relaxed with brief moments of anger
- Kind-hearted but bitter due to experiences
Costume

The detective will wear a blazer to convey her status. The use of business attire is in order to clearly present the role of the detective.
The suspect will wear a light grey jacket with a hoodie.
Grey- the contrast between the dark grey worn by the detective is in order to highlight the divide in the characters as well as the attitudes. The detective has a more serious tone, whereas the suspect is quite nonchalant in his behaviour.
Hooded jacket- I will take the stereotype of a hooded teen and will apply it to the film. The association of a hood and crime is quite common, so the hood at the back of his jacket gives the suggestion of guilt. However, the actor will not wear the hood during the film, to suggest his refusal to conform to the stereotype.
Location

I wanted to film in a dull, dark room to highlight the serious tone. I found the search for this was quite difficult as the availability of the room did not correspond with the availability of my actors therefore I had to choose a location which would be appropriate and easy access.
I chose a simplistic dark room to convey the serious tone of the plot.
I decided to use a white spotlight to focus the attention on the actors in the scene.
