Audience Feedback

The reason for the dim lighting was too advocate the isolation of the character and also reflect the themes that are present in the film in addition to the young female character’s perspective. I find the interpretation of ‘one window for light’ interesting, as I used the concentrated light on the character in a symbolic manner to highlight her innocence rather than to create the scenery.

The film is psychological thriller with strong themes of horror, I am glad that the horror element was easily recognisable as well as the thriller genre.

I recognise that the sound may be too loud for some people, and agree that the voice at the beginning of the film could be louder than the static.

However, the reason I included loud dynamics in my work was to build suspense and to emphasise on certain scenes such as the shot where the bat with nails is dragged across the floor.
