Preliminary Script:
A enters the room through a door and sits across B. There is a table in between them. (There are papers on the table, two seats and a white spotlight is used)
Dialogue:
A: where were you on October 4th at 10:43pm?
B: Home.
A: we have witnesses that say otherwise.
B: show me these witnesses.
A: This isn’t about a simple dine and dash or stealing candies from the corner shop! A young girl has gone missing.
B: I know. I just don’t see what it has to do with me?
A: She was last seen with you, you were entering a restaurant on October 1st, three days before her disappearance.
B: That doesn’t mean I know where she is, I can barely remember her name.
A: Does the name Amanda Deign ring a bell?
B: I took pity on her; she wasn’t able to go home, so I thought I’d be nice and take her out.
A: that’s strange, because it seems as if you hate her.
B: I’ve every reason to! (B stomps their fist on the table, whilst A leans backwards in response)
I shortened the length of the dialogue because the brief stated that the film needed to have a duration of one minute. I chose these specific lines to appear in the film because they were essential to the plot and they still allowed the narrative to be understandable.
